About Buckhead

Buckhead was founded in 1838 when Henry Irby bought many acres of land. He opened a tavern, and many people think that Buckhead was named when Irby shot a buck on Peachtree Road and nailed the head onto a post near the tavern. Thus, the area became known as “Buck’s Head” and eventually Buckhead.

Buckhead has continued to grow and has become the most well-known destination of Atlanta. It’s a great place to be if you are a pet owner because there are many pet-friendly places you and your dog can go. Whether you live in a house, apartment or condo, your dog can enjoy time outside.

Buckhead Dog Walking & Pet Sitting

We love dog walking for Buckhead pet parents! Laughing Pets Atlanta provides dog walking services in the various neighborhoods in Buckhead. Additionally, we offer adventure walks in other neighborhoods and parks, so your dog gets an opportunity to sniff new things and see new sites!
